Why We're Different

Why We're Different PhotoFEWER CASES  =  MORE TIME DEFENDING YOU.

Our firm differs from other DWI / DUI firms in that we do not rely on a high volume bulk practice.  We are not a "chop-shop" that handles hundreds of drunk driving cases at discount prices.  In fact, Parker Layrisson declines more cases than he accepts.  We limit our DWI and DUI defense practice to select matters and that is good for you.

By handling fewer cases, we can allocate more resources to your defense.  If you hire the Parker Layrisson Law Firm, an experienced DWI / DUI defense lawyer or team of lawyers will handle your case from start to finish.  We will not pawn you off to inexperienced associates or assistants.  We will dedicate a considerable amount of valuable attorney time to your case, and it will show.

OUR CLIENTS TAKE A PROACTIVE ROLE IN THEIR DEFENSE.

We encourage all clients to participate in their own defense.  A thorough, candid attorney-client interview is only the beginning of that process.  In most cases, in addition to mounting an agressive legal defense, we recommend that our clients go "the extra mile" by voluntarily completing the following: (1) safe driving program; (2) alcohol/substance abuse assessment; (3) community service; (4) MADD victims' impact panel; (5) AA meetings; and/or (6) ignition interlock installation.  Although these tasks are burdensome, they prove invaluable to convincing prosecutors and judges that our clients are serious about avoiding any future drunk driving charges, thereby gaining the credibility you need to obtain a favorable disposition.

WE DISCOURAGE DRUNK DRIVING.

Although it may result in less business for our law firm, Parker Layrisson emphatically discourages drinking and driving. Driving while intoxicated or under the influence is unsafe and a DWI / DUI conviction can ruin your future.

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!
